Junior Kg (K-1)

A Strong Foundation for Early Learning

At Le Papillon International Preschool, we provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners in Junior KG (K-1). Designed for children aged 4-5 years, our programme focuses on fostering cognitive, social, emotional and physical development through a well-rounded play-based curriculum. We ensure that every child receives the right foundation to grow into a confident and independent learner.

Our Junior KG (K-1) curriculum emphasises language development, early math skills, creative expression and social interaction. Through interactive storytelling, phonics-based learning and early writing exercises, children build strong literacy skills. Mathematical concepts such as counting, shapes and simple problem-solving are introduced in a fun and engaging way. Hands-on activities, puzzles and group tasks encourage logical thinking and creativity, preparing children for higher learning levels.

At Le Papillon, we believe in learning through play, allowing children to explore, experiment and express themselves freely. Our classrooms are designed to be vibrant and interactive, with a variety of educational games, art and craft activities, music and movement exercises. These experiences not only enhance fine and gross motor skills but also promote teamwork and communication, helping children develop social confidence.

Our highly trained teachers use child-centred teaching methods, ensuring that each child progresses at their own pace. We maintain a low teacher-to-student ratio, allowing for personalised attention and encouragement. Our structured daily routines instil discipline and a love for learning while providing ample time for free play and discovery.

At Le Papillon International Preschool, we create a safe, inclusive and inspiring learning environment where children can thrive. Our Junior KG (K-1) programme builds a strong academic foundation while nurturing creativity, critical thinking and social skills, ensuring that children are well-prepared for the next stage of their education.
